WRITE IT. BURN IT.

Heal • Release • Reprogram • Create a New You

A promotional poster for the 'Write It. Burn It Workshop' by Light and Breezy Coaching, featuring a smiling woman with long blonde hair holding a burnt piece of paper with the words 'Old Beliefs, Old Patterns, Old Me' on it, next to a burning bowl labeled 'New Beliefs, New Energy, Next Chapter'. The poster promotes a transformational workshop focused on identifying and releasing subconscious patterns to create a new reality, with icons and keywords like find the pattern, identify the trigger, explore the response, understand the protection, uncover the belief, write it, burn it, regulate it, rewrite it, and embody it.

WELCOME TO WRITE IT. BURN IT.

You can’t release a belief you haven’t identified.

Most of us know the patterns we want to change. We know where we feel stuck. We may even understand where some of it came from. But knowing a pattern exists and changing the belief underneath it are two very different things.

Today, we’re going beneath the surface.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns, triggers, and automatic responses that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll uncover the belief underneath them, understand what that belief has been trying to protect, and begin creating something new in its place.

This isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about releasing what no longer belongs to you so you can become more of who you already are,

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A pen • Several pieces of paper • A quiet space • An open mind

And because we’re actually burning paper during the experience:

For the burning portion, have a fire-safe bowl or container available and choose a safe, well-ventilated location.

WHAT ARE YOU READY TO BURN?

Most of us can point to something in our lives that we’re ready to change.

Maybe you keep finding yourself in the same kind of relationship. Maybe you shrink yourself to keep other people comfortable. Maybe you procrastinate when something really matters to you. Maybe you overthink, people-please, self-sabotage, shut down, or keep finding yourself in the same situation with different people.

We tend to focus on the behavior we want to change.

But the behavior isn’t always the problem.

Often, there’s something underneath it, a belief about yourself, other people, love, safety, success, money, belonging, or what you believe is possible for you.

Today, we’re going to find it.

Because you can’t burn what you haven’t identified.

START WITH THE PATTERN

Don’t try to figure out the belief yet.

Start with what you already know.

What is one pattern in your life that you are ready to stop repeating?

Maybe it sounds like:

I keep choosing people who aren’t emotionally available.

I abandon myself to keep a relationship.

I procrastinate when something really matters to me.

I don’t speak up for myself.

I constantly worry about money.

I feel like I have to prove my worth.

I make myself smaller so other people feel comfortable.

I sabotage things when they start going well.

Your pattern may look completely different. There is no right answer here.

For now, simply notice what keeps repeating.

WRITE IT DOWN.

The pattern I am ready to stop repeating is:

Don’t overthink it. Start with what came to you first.

This is the surface. Now we’re going underneath it.

IDENTIFY IT.

You’ve identified the pattern. Now we’re going to follow it.

Think about the most recent time this pattern showed up in your life. Don’t choose the biggest or most painful example. Choose one you can clearly remember.

1. WHAT HAPPENED?

What was happening when the pattern showed up?

Write down the situation:

2. WHAT TRIGGERED YOU?

What happened immediately before your response?

Was it something someone said? Something they didn’t say? A feeling of rejection, uncertainty, failure, conflict, judgment, loss of control, or not being chosen?

My trigger was:

3. WHAT WAS YOUR AUTOMATIC RESPONSE?

Before you had time to think about it, what did you do?

Did you shut down? Overthink? Chase? Pull away? People-please? Get angry? Apologize? Avoid? Procrastinate? Try to control the situation?

My automatic response was:

4. WHAT WAS THAT RESPONSE TRYING TO PROTECT YOU FROM?

This is where we begin going deeper.

If your response was trying to protect you from experiencing something, what was it afraid would happen?

5. WHAT DID THAT MEAN ABOUT YOU?

Finish this sentence without trying to make the answer sound good:

“If that happened, it would mean that I am…”

Read what you wrote.

Then ask yourself:

“And if THAT were true, what would it mean about me?”

Keep asking until you reach something that feels deeper than the situation itself.

Maybe you arrive at:

I’m not enough.
I’m not worthy.
I’m unlovable.
I’m not safe.
I’ll be abandoned.
I don’t matter.
I have to earn love.
I have to be perfect to be accepted.
I can’t trust myself.
There will never be enough.

Or yours may be something completely different.

YOU FOUND THE BELIEF.

The pattern was what you could see.

The belief is what was underneath it.

Write it clearly:

THE BELIEF I’VE BEEN CARRYING IS:
